**Moonlight Falling is a prequel novella to Midnight Burning; Book One of The Norse Chronicles.**

Before he moved to Alaska, Chapman “Mani” Mundy promised his twin sister he would find out why shadows seemed to follow him and why ice sometimes formed in his footsteps. For nearly three years, he has failed to keep that promise, but a budding romance with co-worker, Skyla Ramirez, inspires him to renew his investigation.

If Mani has any hope for a real relationship with Skyla, there can be no secrets or mysteries between them, but as he hunts for the source of his peculiar abilities, sinister adversaries with dangerous motives will emerge from the shadows to conspire against him.

My Review:

So I’ve already read book one and two for this series and I’m loving it. Getting this little glimpse of Mani was AWESOME!!! Evening knowing what was to come, it pulled me in. We get more understanding about his relationship with his sister Solina and how close they really were. We also get to see the budding romance between Mani and Skyla which was really quite adorable. This is a definite must read but I do suggest you start here instead with book one. It doesn’t really give any detail as to what is to come but will leave you wanting more!

My Review:

To me this story was pretty funny since I remember what it’s like to be young and inexperienced. As soon as I read the blurb I knew exactly what might happen, and I wasn’t wrong. But even having some idea of what was to come I couldn’t put it down. The characters were written so well that at times I forgot that this was fiction. It truly felt like I was there and I thought about looking up the vlog a few times. Thankfully I remembered that it was fiction before actually doing it. I totally blame the writing and not my ditziness (I have my moments, I know lol). Although I do feel that I’ve lost some friends by finishing this, it was still a fun read.

REVIEW:

Wow, this was so hard to put down and it took off right from page one. Pandora is running but she’s not sure from what or why. All she knows is that she can’t be caught. I love the fact that we know just as much as she does, so each new piece of information creates just as many questions to the reader as it does to the character. I love when authors do that! The reader doesn’t see the whole picture until the character does, and that’s if the character ever does. It keeps me glued to the page, wanting those little nuggets of information. Of course the cliffhanger ending just makes you scream, but I have to say that I love cliffhangers and I also loath them (unless I have the next book and can start reading it immediately). And I can’t wait to get the next one!!

Blurb From Goodreads:

What would you die for?
Samantha Danroe doesn’t believe in magic. Her ex-husband cured her of happily-ever-after when he cheated on her three days after saying I-do.
She doesn’t believe in ghosts. Until her mother’s ghost rises from a Halloween bonfire with a warning of death from beyond the grave.
And she certainly doesn’t believe in witchcraft. Until she becomes the prey in an ancient war waged between good and evil. A war whose rules she must scramble to learn to stay alive.
In need of protection, Samantha turns to the mysterious Nicholas Orenda, a sixth-generation witch on the trail of a creature who is systematically killing off his family. According to his family’s prophecy, three will be sacrificed to the dark. His mother and grandmother are already dead, and Nicholas doesn’t have time to play by the rules.
Samantha finds herself in the center of a deadly hunt for a mysterious foe. Can she find the strength to defeat a supernatural killer and prevent the third sacrifice? Or will she be the catalyst that opens the gates to the Underworld?
Song of the Ancients is the debut book in the Ancient Magic series.
Readers interested in witchcraft, shamanism–or just the dark side of the supernatural world around us–will enjoy this paranormal suspense, written by a real-life Wiccan High Priestess. Look for information on the next book in the Ancient Magic series in 2016.
Ms. Wright has been authentic to Witchcraft, blending in real spells and rituals throughout her tale. The landscape and its traditions are strong characters.”

My Review:

This was so much fun to read! I loved all the twists and turns, having no clue what would happen next or who was involved. Although Samantha did seem to accept everything pretty quickly but with the facts bashing her in the face it was totally understandable. Kinda hard to say it’s not real when you witness it with your own eyes. I really hope there’s another book, I’m curious to see what happens next. I enjoyed getting to know the characters, seeing the struggle of making a choice even when it’s not all good. I also liked the diverseness of the characters. Please tell me the next book will be out soon!!!

My Review:

As usual, even just a taste this small, you can’t help but fall in love with Nikki and Damien all over again. I feel like a junkie, going through withdrawals, gobbling it up as soon as possible then  jonesing for more. As hard as you try to take your time reading it, there is no easy way to just “put it down” once you get started (unless adulting gets in the way lol). I love how there’s still insecurities in Nikki, making her seem so real. And Damien just makes your heart melt, along with the rest of you. Their relationship defines what being in a relationship means and you can’t help but want more. Maybe there should be a support group for this… “Hi, I’m Kel and I’m addicted to Nikki and Damien.”

My Review:

Very interesting story. I enjoyed the history of it, and the characters were great. So many different personalities that fit so well within the story and era. Great writing that made it seem so real, at times I wondered if I was reading a non-fiction book. Very descriptive yet not overly so. And with so many surprises it made for a fun read. I look forward to reading the next book just to see where it goes, what adventure it will take me on. There’s just enough magic/fantasy that it’s obvious that this is fiction but so much history that at times it’s makes you wonder “is this real?”. The story is about Bartholomew but is focused mostly on Charlie, so we know Charlie has a big part to play in this. I can’t wait to read the next book!

As usual, I couldn’t put this down. I loved the scene when Rosalyn is with Zephan and she feels sick. Totally cracked me up with how pissed he got. It was one of those “ha ha, thwarted again” moments. A definite kink in Zephan’s plan that had me cheering. I am really enjoying the characters, so realistic with all the insecurities and doubts mixed with sassy mouths and genuine loyalty. I really hope there is a spin-off for Cinead, I’d love to read his story! Anyway, Leonidas and Rosalyn have quite the interesting story so far and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together. Great writing with awesome characters that you won’t want to miss!

Oh, I hope this doesn’t mean it’s over!! I’ve really been enjoying this series!! Hacker being all love-struck was hilarious, he was so goofy about it. And Ellen, trying to act like the connection wasn’t there, being all badass, it was awesome! I really liked this sci-fi world, there were so many new types of characters that were just fascinating and unique. Can’t wait to see what Ms. Kellison comes up with next!!

So, other than a few confusing parts about Shelby and with a bit more editing this story is solid. I loved it! I call dibs on Nash!!! He’s funny, charming and dirty. A perfect combination for a book boyfriend. Be sure to have tissues, especially near the end when you meet Amber. I sat at the bus stop, waiting for the bus, trying not to cry as tears just overflowed from my eyes. It was so hard not to start bawling. Anyway, if you are like me and can enjoy a story while looking past a few mistakes then please, grab this book!! You won’t regret it!
