#newrelease Her First Kiss by M.J. Fields #giveaway

Title: Her First Kiss
Series: First Series #1
Author: MJ Fields
Genre: Romance
Release Date: December 12, 2017
One woman with her entire life in front of her.

Having experienced a lifetime’s amount of loss and love under the spotlight of her stepfather and stepbrother’s rock and roll stardom, London Fields decides now is her time to shine. Leaving for college with a clear focus and big dreams around her musical theater major, she is ready to take on the world … under an assumed name. Protecting her identity will allow her the freedom to experience life and maybe love for the very first time.

One man with a second chance to live for himself.

A horrible accident devastated life as Logan Links and his family knew it. He spent a semester off from college to help them begin to heal and returns to school just in time to play one more season of college football.

Only one thing can make things … hard.

Logan and London have had a tumultuous relationship since he was twelve and she was eight. One that has always been buffered by their families’ close connection. Now, they are on their own.

What happens when these two repeatedly run into each other without the watchful eyes of others? Will London’s daydreams of Logan Links being the first man she kisses become a heavenly reality, or will his devil dimples lead her straight to hell?

He rubs his cheek. “It’s a condition?”

“Yep.”

“Okay.” He extends his hand for me to shake. When I shake his, though, he pulls me in hard and I crash into him. He then puts his hand on my ass and pulls me in harder against him. I feel all of him against me.

“Oh, my God.”

“You feel this?” he asks, fisting my hair and pulling it back so I’m looking up at him.

“Yeah,” I whimper.

“You’re not the only one who can hide shit.” He leans down and licks behind my ear. “They didn’t see it.”

“How?” I whimper as he rotates his hips, grinding against me.

“It finds a leg.” He grips my ass hard then lifts me. I wrap my legs around him as he pushes me against the wall.

The poster behind me falls. I catch the corner and look up. There’s a big hole behind it.

“Logan, what’s this?”

“Had a few bad weeks,” he says before grinding into me and licking up my neck.

I grab the back of his head and pull it closer.

Hearing the framed poster fall to the ground, I turn, but he captures the side of my head and slides his open mouth up my jaw.

I whimper and press my breasts against him. He pulls me away from the wall as he sucks on my neck then sits on the end of his bed, bringing me down on top of him.

Heat turns to fire. I can’t help grinding against him.

“Fuck, London,” he hisses and pulls me tighter, flipping me onto my back and hovering over me. “You wanna take this slow, you let me lead. You keep grinding on me, you leave me no choice but to give you what we both want.”

“Kiss me, dammit.”

He presses his body against mine, his elbows on the mattress, and grabs my face. I am panting, squirming beneath him.

He pulls me up and, within seconds, I am shirtless. With no time to panic, he lays me back down, and only then do I realize he has unhooked my bra, as well.

His lips fall just above my breasts, where he kisses up. His lips feel so soft against my skin, but the pressure he applies is that of need, want, and almost uncontrollable hunger. When he reaches my chin, I swipe my tongue across my lips to wet them, and he catches it in his mouth, sucking on it slowly.

A hum vibrates from his chest. No, mine. No, both. Then he rubs his tongue up and down mine. I open my mouth farther, wanting, needing, imploring him to taste me deeper, and he does.

He licks inside my mouth while holding my head, angling it so he can get deeper. I swear he’s fucking it, and I know this spinning in my belly, the heat, the electricity, the pulsing everywhere is exactly what I imagined it would be, only better.

Returning Home (A Novella)
Riann C. Miller

Contemporary Romance

At fifteen, I fell in love with Luke Runyan.

With just one look, one touch, he became my world until he shattered my heart into a million pieces. No one meets their soulmate when they’re only a kid, yet convincing my heart to move on is a task I never mastered.

My heart has only ever belonged to one woman, Samantha Harris.

Sam had dreams; dreams I couldn’t deliver, which left me with only one choice… I walked away.

Whoever said time heals all wounds never lost the love of their life. And they don’t force you back to the same small town you’ve spent your entire adult life avoiding, especially when she’s everywhere you turn.

Juggling the bags in my hands, I manage to get the back door open. My stomach grumbles from the sweet smell of warm cookies. I place the bags on the counter, ready to swipe a cookie from a cooling rack when Margie walks into the kitchen.

“Oh, you came. I wasn’t sure if you’d bring my order this week.”

“I don’t bail on people; you should know that by now.”

I wince when her mouth turns down with a frown.

“I don’t know what I would do without you, Sam. I guess I was just worried things would change now.”

I force a smile, hoping it doesn’t look nearly as fake as it feels. “Nothing is going to change unless of course, you want it to.”

She limps in my direction and pulls me in for a hug. I lost my mother when I was five and over the years, Margie has filled the void I’ve felt. Losing her isn’t an option, at least not one I can live with.

“I would understand if you didn’t want to come by.”

I open my mouth, ready to reply when he walks into the kitchen. The second Luke spots me he freezes, both of our bodies going stiff.

Margie’s eyes follow mine until they stop on her son. “Oh, I thought you were taking a nap.” Her voice shakes, probably expecting all hell to break loose, but I’m not about to act like a crazy ex-girlfriend.“I couldn’t sleep.” Luke’s deep voice rumbles through me. He looks the same, just bigger, harder, tougher compared to the eighteen-year-old I remember.

I clear my throat and my wandering thoughts. “I didn’t check your order before bringing it to you. If you’re missing anything, let me know.”

I lean forward, giving Margie a quick kiss on the cheek. “Have a great day.” Without looking at either of them, I swiftly walk out the back door.

My entire life has been one messy situation after another. I shouldn’t be surprised that Luke of all people would return home and somehow magically become my patient, but damn if I don’t hate my new reality.

Hi, I’m Riann. I’ve been obsessed with reading romance novels for close to five years. I love getting to know new people in the book community and I’ve met several people along the way that I consider true friends. I’m happily married with two children. When I’m not reading or writing, I’m usually spending time with my family, friends or watching baseball.

#newrelease Ford by Samantha Chase @inkslingerpr

Samantha Chase’s installment of the 7 Brides for 7 Soldiers series, FORD, is available now! Read a sneak peek below and be sure to grab your copy today!

About FORD

There are three things Ford Garrison wants more than anything: to build, to report to no one, and the chance to live his life without the prying eyes of the good folks of Eagle’s Ridge. Having spent ten years in the Navy as part of their construction battalion, he was able to live out most of that dream. Two out three wasn’t bad, right? Now that he’s out of the service, things aren’t falling into place quite as easily as he hoped and he ends up back home with all eyes on him.

It wasn’t as if Callie had gone out of her way to end up in Ford’s path, but somehow that happened all on its own and the town gossips were having a field day! Could she help it that she was living in the house Ford had hoped to claim as his own or that the work on his grandmother’s ranch meant they were living not fifty-feet away from each other?

Ford was determined to come home, do a job to help his grandmother and leave. Callie James is a distraction and she represents everything he has spent years running away from. Now he’s at odds with his friends, his family and himself about where his home and future are going to be.

Could he walk away from Eagle’s Ridge a second time?

“What are you working on out here? More wreaths?”

With a soft laugh, she pulled back and stepped out of his arms. “I am. Doing something like this is normally very soothing for me. When I got home, I came right out here rather than going into the cottage.”

“And did it help?”

Callie shook her head. “Unfortunately, it was so quiet out here, and I’ve already made four of these wreaths so I didn’t even have to think about what I was doing.”

“So your mind immediately went to your mom.”

She nodded. “Exactly.”

Stepping around her, Ford examined the wreath. It looked exactly like the one she had given him for his grandmother’s front door, but now he took the time to look at the details. It seemed so simple at first glance, but when he realized how much time went into weaving the lights and how tedious that could be, he was more than a little impressed. The vine was fragile, and he knew he’d more than likely crush some of it if he tried to do it himself.

Unable to help himself, he reached for one of Callie’s hands and studied it. It was small and delicate. Her fingers were slim and smooth. No wonder she could do work like this. He looked at her face and saw her studying him, her expression serious.

And Callie rarely looked serious or intense. Her features were always relaxed or smiling. This was…different.

He brought her hand to his lips and kissed her palm. “I was just noticing how intricate this work is,” he said gruffly. “I’m a little in awe of what you do.”

“Me? But…what you do is so much more—”

Ford placed a finger over her lips and shook his head. “I’m in awe of you,” he repeated, and slowly pulled her in close again.

Callie’s lips parted on a soft gasp as her eyes met his. And those beautiful eyes seemed to have a million questions in them, and Ford only had one answer.

He kissed her.

Slowly. Sweetly. He savored her as she melted against him. She hummed as her arms wrapped around him and in that instant, Ford knew what he had to do.

He lifted his head and looked down at her. Her lips were wet and her cheeks were flushed and she was the most beautiful woman he’d ever seen. So many nights over the last week they’d been like this, and right now, Ford knew he wanted more.

“Come home with me, Callie,” he murmured against her lips before resting his forehead against hers.

“Yes.”

Never had a single word sounded sweeter.

Excerpt:

Just as I reached out my hand to push open the ladies room door, a meaty paw landed on my shoulder, spinning me around.

“Well, well. Look what I’ve found.” It was the man from the gun range, Sergei, and he grinned gleefully as though he’d just won the lottery. “Emily, wasn’t it? I don’t think I’ve seen your man around here anywhere tonight…” His leer promised all sorts of bad things, and I bit back a snappy retort, remembering the simpering idiot act I had put on when we met.

“Oh, hi!” I gave him my best vacant doe eyes and batted my long lashes. “Sergei, right? What are you doing here?”

He ignored my question, a cruel smile on his face. “You know, places like this aren’t safe for little girls like you. Anyone could just snatch you right up, and no one would say a word.” He crept in closer to me, boxing me against the door. I debated my options, fairly sure I might need to break character and feed this guy his nuts in order to get out of this situation. Right in the nick of time, a bloodied hand snaked between us and yanked me out from under my would-be captor’s sweaty gaze.

Sergei looked up at my savior, surprised and a little wary. “Cole. Good fight, my friend. I always know my money is safe on you.”

Cole glared his scary death stare as his fingers clamped tight on my hip.

“Sergei.” Cole sneered the smaller man’s name with distaste. “Can I ask what you think you’re doing with my girlfriend?” Crap. River hadn’t told him about my prior run in with Sergei.

Your girlfriend?” He grinned like a Cheshire cat. “I thought she was River’s girlfriend?”

The low rumble from Cole’s chest frightened even me, but I stepped in a little closer to him, instinctively drawn to the sound.

“We like to share.” He glowered at Sergei without so much as missing a beat. “Now fuck off.”

Sergei flicked a nervous look at the still wet blood on the hand clamped possessively over my hip, then gave me a parting leer.

“I’m sure I’ll be seeing you around, Emily.” Then he scurried back down the hallway as though chased by the sound of Cole’s growl.

Evidently I wasn’t off the hook yet as Cole turned his angry gaze on me, pinning me to the spot. Yeah, I shouldn’t have left the chair.

“I had to move,” I defended myself before he could start. “There was a fight breaking out right in front of me, and I didn’t want to be trampled!” He gave me another long stare, then shocked the hell out of me by sweeping me up in a huge hug.

“Don’t scare me like that again, Vixen. I went to get my shit, and you were gone… There are some seriously dangerous people here tonight,” he muttered, not putting me down yet.

“I’m sorry,” I squeaked, patting his huge shoulders. “I thought I’d be back before you noticed.”

He continued to hug me for a second, his hot, sweaty body dampening my shirt, then gently lowered me back to the floor.

“Let’s get out of here.” He grunted, picking up his pile of clothes where he had dropped them, then tugging me further down the hallway and out through a fire escape, which led into a different alleyway. He pulled his leather jacket back on then paused to tie his boots. He must have just stuffed his feet in them before coming to find me downstairs. I inspected his bloodied hands for injuries, but they seemed to just be a little bruised around the knuckles, so the blood must have been from Odin.

“Nice of River to have mentioned you’ve already run into Sergei,” he muttered, narrowing his eyes at me as if expecting an explanation, but I just shrugged.

“He’s not the sort of guy you want taking an interest in you,” Cole continued. “He’s mixed up in this human trafficking job.”

“I assumed as much when River used a fake name for me.” I dropped the hand I was still holding. Whoops. “Quick thinking on the whole ‘we share a girlfriend’ thing, though.”

He gave me a long look, the corner of his mouth twitching, then wrapped his massive paw around my cold hand and tugged me along behind him.

#Review Can’t Get Enough by Gena S Showalter @InkSlingerPR @genashowalter #recentrelease

From New York Times Bestselling author Gena Showalter, comes the next standalone romance in the Original Heartbreakers Series—CAN’T GET ENOUGH!

Grab your copy today!

CAN’T GET ENOUGH Synopsis:

New York Times best selling author Gena Showalter returns with a sizzling Original Heartbreakers tale, featuring a rough, tough bad boy brought to his knees by… a kindergarten teacher?

The king of one-night stands…
To inherit–and destroy–his father’s business at long last, Brock Hudson needs a temporary wife. The ruthless ex-military heartthrob has always avoided romantic entanglements. Women are sweet, but vengeance will be sweeter. Or so he thinks. Only one woman will do, but the vulnerable beauty is more than he bargained for—sexier, wittier, and utterly irresistible.

The queen of the deep freeze…
After an abusive first marriage, Lyndie Scott has sworn off relationships. But still she longs for a child of her own. Turns out, the brawler who used to frighten her with only a glance is the answer to her problems. She agrees to his proposal, with a caveat: spend every night in bed with her, then walk away for good when it’s time to divorce. Even if she’s pregnant.

A marriage of breathtaking inconvenience…
As the days pass too quickly and the nights heat up, Brock battles a sense of possession and obsession. Will the former commitment-phobe convince his wife they’re better off together, or will she pack her bags and go?

review-bannerI have been a fan of Gena Showalter’s work for quite some time. It was an honor to read this work. As usual, Ms. Showalter didn’t disappoint. With each work, I find myself completely ensconced in the world she creates and a new book boyfriend has emerged. If you haven’t read any of her works, I recommend you start now. STUPENDOUS! Love the cover. The color is one of my favorites.

5-star

Background from a plum satin fabric with picturesque folds

Brock opened her car door to help her out. Hand in hand—a development she liked a little too much—they headed inside a chrome and glass building. Crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling, illuminating dresses that cost more than she made in a year. The scent of money saturated the air. Or what she believed money would smell like if it bathed in perfumed oils and rolled in a bed of rose petals.

Another amazement? No other customers were present because Brock had booked the entire salon for a private appointment.

With his mouth at her ear, he whispered, “I want to see you in every gown.”

Knees growing weak, she nodded. Then she allowed a salesgirl to lead her into a room.

As Lyndie modeled different dresses, Brock lounged on a couch. All the while, heat blazed in his eyes, and masculine awareness knotted the muscles in his shoulders. He gripped his knees as if to hold himself in place.

He really did have a gown fetish. Or maybe he just wanted to make a move on her?

“You are exquisite, Scottie.”

“Thank you.” Desire nearly felled her and definitely made breathing a little more difficult. Only one thing kept her upright. Feminine power. How badly can I make him want me?

Not going to find out. Not today. But soon.

After a salesgirl served him a glass of champagne, Lyndie said, “I feel like we’re living Pretty Woman.”

“If you want to take this fantasy a step further, I’m game.” The words were a low rasp, yet they exuded enough sultry heat to tempt a woman to strip anytime, any place.

Feigning nonchalance, she said, “So we’ll pretend you’re a prostitute with a heart of gold and I’m your sugar momma?”

“Exactly.” He didn’t miss a beat. But then, he never did. “I’ll do whatever you pay me to do.”

And once again, desire threatened to fell her. Her knees shook, her body softening, readying for his possession. “How would I pay you? What currency?”

“What else? Orgasms.”

A #sinsandsecrets Series Novel

Author: Willow Winters
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: December 5, 2017
Blurb
She made me a better man, but I still wasn’t good enough to keep her.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, with sleeve tattoos, ripped muscle and a
cold-hearted stare, I am who I am.  The bad boy she knew to stay away
from.
I knew we were never supposed to last.  But the way her lips
tasted, the way her curves felt under my hands…  I couldn’t let go. I did
everything I could to keep her.
I put on a ring on her finger and straightened out my life.  All
for her.
I should’ve known better.
One mistake tore us apart and I don’t know what I can do to salvage
what we once had.
I knew it wasn’t supposed to last, but if I could make her stay with me
once…  I can do it again.
Watch me. I love my sweetheart; I’m not losing her again.

Evan
Damn me for what I’ve done,
Hate me for the lie.
Let the web weave and thread,
But don’t let what we have die.
I know it in my blood,
She’s mine to keep and hold.
I’ll stop fighting only once,
When I’m dead and cold.
The piles of dirt are getting larger. The metal shovels
pierce the frozen soil. The sound cuts through my bones, one and then another
and another.
It’s been constant as I stand here, helpless. I’ve never
been colder, the wind and bitter snow beseiging my body, but I still don’t
move.
I can’t take my eyes from the two graves.
The shovels spill the dirt, the piles mounting as my eyes
drift to the tombstones.
The first my father, a man who died before his time. A death
of tragedy.
And then to my wife’s. My love’s. Gone before her time. No
one believes me. He put her there. James killed her.
My eyes pop open wide when I hear Kat whisper, “It’s all
your fault.”
I wake up breathless, my heart pounding and I swear I can
feel Kat’s hot breath on my neck even though I’m alone. My eyes dart around the
room as I slowly lift my body into a sitting position on the bed.
Just a terror. The same as last night.
I’m quick to grab the video monitor for the security system
from the nightstand and flick the button on to bring it to life. I had it
installed after the break-in.
It’s only when I see Kat in our bed, that my heart starts to
calm, and my heated skin seems to succumb to the chill of reality.
She’s okay.
I close my eyes and when I open them, it’s an image of her
rolling over in bed. To my side. My fingers brush the glass where she is. I’ll
be there soon. I’ll be with her and it’ll all be over. I won’t let her down.

Excerpt

Title: A Cruel Kind of Beautiful
Author: Michelle Hazen
Genre: Contemporary Romance
About A Cruel Kind of Beautiful:
If you can’t get to the Big O, can you get to the happily ever after?
Jera McKnight loves music, swoons for hot guys, but sucks at sex. Jacob Tate is her perfect storm: a pun-loving nude model with a heart as big as his record collection.
When a newspaper-delivery accident lands him in her living room, he’s almost tempting enough to make her forget she’s never been able to please a man—in bed or out of it. Sure, he laughs at her obscure jokes, and he’ll even accept a PG-rating if it means he gets time with her, but he’s also hiding something. And it has everything to do with the off-limits room in his apartment.
Jera pours all her confusion and longing into her drum kit, which pays off when her band lands the record deal of their dreams. Except just like Jacob, it might be too good to come without a catch.
She doesn’t know if her music is good enough to attract a better contract, or if she’s enough to tempt a man like Jacob to give up his secrets, even if they could fix her problems between the sheets. But if this rocker girl is too afraid to bet on herself, she might just end up playing to an empty house.
Grab the first book in this addictive new series if you love snarky heroines, the backstage scoop about mouthwatering rock stars on the rise, and Kindle-melting sex scenes. Perfect for fans of the ragtag band families in Kylie Scott and Crystal Caswell’s books.
