Dragged back to a place Tamzea had hoped to leave in her worst nightmares, she discovers Eron, a man she thought dead. Determined to save each other, Tamzea and Eron must find a way to work together, despite their torrid past. With partial truths, and political games, will Tamzea be able to fix Eron, or is he too broken for even her to heal?

D.T. Dyllin is a bestselling author who writes paranormal, sci-fi, and contemporary romance. Basically, anything with a love story is her kryptonite. Her obsession with affairs-of-the-heart is what first drove her to begin twisting her own tales of scorching romance.

D.T. was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. (Black & Gold for life, baby!) She now lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband, and two spoiled German Shepherds.

Q&A with Narrator Ashley Holt
  • What about this title compelled you to audition as narrator?
    • The lead character. I geeked out bigtime over this title. I went online and downloaded art to represent the main characters, and printed them out and put them up on the walls. I really got into it!
  • How closely do you prefer to work with authors?
    • That is a difficult question to answer. Every author is different, and each experience is different. Having said that, DT stands out as being VERY different from most authors, to the point where we chat in email and talk about hockey more than books!
  • Who are your “accent inspirations”?
    • Another difficult question. I don’t know if I have any. Coming from the opera world makes this a very different experience than a traditional American actor, because we are steeped in the language immediately. When opera singers have to sing in English, its often a very difficult transition! Did I answer the question???
  • How did you decide how each character should sound in this title?
    • Practice, a TON of practice and sounding them out in dialogue scenes. Although I now wish I hadn’t chosen such a gruff voice for Dar, because he figures prominently in Book 4, and damn, that gets painful after a while, even with a ton of vocal warmup. I work with my coach on this a LOT, and she encourages me to put more variety in. It is a learned skill, so with every book I do, I hopefully get better!
  • What types of things are harmful to your voice?
    • 4 hours of continually voicing a gruff character! Ha, no not really. The big no no? Alcohol the night before. Again, back to the opera training. Over 30 years of training (I started when I was 14) and I can feel changes in my vocal cords like THAT. My voice is my instrument, and even one drink the night before changes the COLOR and TIMBRE. Have 2 or 3, and I might not be able to record the next day at all, depending on what book I’m doing or what character.
  • Has anyone ever recognized you from your voice?
    • HA, yes! I mentioned I travel for the day job, and sometimes we drive. So one day we were gassing up at a station somewhere, and the clerk recognized my voice. It was great.
  • Have there been any characters that you really connected with?
    • I now tend to pick titles that have the bit of snark that I resonate with. Having said that, I did a time-travel alt history with a very saccharine sweet heroine that garned some very good reviews, so what do I know?
  • If you had the power to time travel, would you use it? If yes, when and where would you go?
    • SIGN ME UP. I would go to the year 1800, and become a student of Beethoven. I am obsessed with learning the piano – I always wanted to, and never studied. I can plunk out a few things, but I mean really immerse myself the way I did in voice lessons. Also, I am a dork for 19th century literature, especially Russian and Dickens, my favorite author.
  • How does audiobook narration differ from other types of voiceover work you’ve done?
      • I did classical music radio for afew years, and even there, where the style is not as much “in your face” as it would be for a rock station or talk radio, the radio style is still very INTENSE. When I work with my coaches, it is to get the “radio sound” out of my voice.

Rapturous #Release #Blitz: Sacrifice by Ava Sinclair

Sacrifice A Reverse Harem Dragon Fantasy from Ava Sinclair.
AVAILABLE NOW

BUY LINK ->->myBook.to/SacrificeReverseHarem

Four dragon lords. One virgin sacrifice.

When my village sacrificed me to the dragons, I went willingly to the Altar Rock to die.

But I didn’t die.

I wake up in a castle built into a huge mountain. House Fra’Hir is one of many castles in the Drakoryan Empire. It is here I learn the truth — that women like me aren’t taken away to be devoured, but to be mated.

My mates, four sons of a dragon knight slain in the last battle of the ShadowFell, are unique both in personality and carnal abilities. They introduce me to the world of pleasure. In their bed chambers, they prepare me with masterful skill for the final, ultimate bond that will make me truly theirs.

But I am no passive mate. I make two vows to myself – to remember the village I left behind, and to remain strong. I will need that strength, not just to satisfy the insatiable appetites of my dragon lords, but to face the looming threat that will soon threaten both the Drakoryan and humans alike.

This book contains depictions of graphic sex and fantasy battlefield violence. Please do not purchase if these themes offend you.

Excerpt:

“Are you the one who saved me?” I ask.
“Saved you?”
“From the dragon.”
He regards me, his gaze intense. “Yes, the dragon. As fearsome a beast as ever lived.” He walks to the bed and puts a hand on one of the posts. “Were you afraid, little one? When you first saw it, what went through your mind?”
I clutch the cover to my chest. The man is staring at me. Something about his eyes ring familiar. But that’s impossible. I’ve never seen him before. I struggle to answer his question.
“First, that my life was over. Then…” I summon the memory of the moment the dragon’s massive head rose above the lip of the ledge, the sheer size of it. “And then, I thought it was the most terrible, most beautiful thing I have ever seen.”
The corner of his mouth curves into a smile.
“You are a brave girl. What do they call you?”
“Lyla.
“Lyla.” He repeats it, as if tasting my name on his tongue.
“Did you save me?” I ask again. “What happened? It took me…in its claw…” I curl my hand, subconsciously mimicking it. I close my eyes, trying to recall more. “I do not know what happened next.”
“And you do not need to.” His voice is deep. It seems to rumble from within. His accent is strange to my ears. “All that matters is that you are safe. And mine.”
“Yours?” I twist my hands into the sheet I clutch at my breast.
“Yes, little one.” He moves to the side of the bed. By the gods, he is huge! His thighs, smooth and brown, bulge with muscles as he walks. My heart begins to flutter in my chest at his approach. “You are here, unscathed.” He smiles. “Do you not think I deserve a boon for that?”
“A boon?” I try to swallow my nervousness. I’d planned for death, but not for this. My mind races as it sinks in what he wants. “My mother…she will be so glad to know that I’m alive. She could give you…” My voice falters and I look around. What could my poor mother give this man whose bed is larger than a room in my house. My gaze falls on the rich tapestries on the wall, the sumptuous firs on the stone floor.
He leans over, puts a finger under my chin. His eyes lock onto mine. The irises are green, then gray, then gold. “You are the boon.

Blazing #BlogTour: Diesel by L. Wilder

Title: Diesel
Series: Satan’s Fury MC #8
Author: L. Wilder
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: February 6, 2018

Books, Wine, and Time – Diesel is filled with that feeling of unconditional brotherhood, tragedy, and finding that love that is so deserving. 5 Must Read Stars!
Cali Gals – Satan’s Fury MC have provided some of my favorite bad boys, and Diesel did not disappoint. He is the right amount of naughty mixed with a heart of gold.
Jenerated Reviews – Once again L. Wilder nails it with Diesel as another member of the Satan’s Fury MC finds love through her uniquely insightful and sensitive take on romance!
I may look like the boy next door, but if you mess with someone I care about, I’ll become your worst fucking nightmare.

Ellie:
I never dreamed that I’d end up at a motorcycle club, especially one as notorious as the Satan’s Fury MC, but that’s exactly where I’d found myself. They were supposed to be vicious, cold-blooded killers, but after an accident that nearly took my life, they opened their doors to me, treating me with nothing but kindness.

I was damaged, broken beyond repair, but one man, one tough-as-nails biker, saw past all my scars. With his sinful good looks and intoxicating, green eyes, he could turn the head of any woman, but for me, it was his heart that drew me in.

Diesel:
I should’ve kept my distance, kept my guard up, but Ellie Blackwell had me feeling things I’d never felt before—good things, really fucking good things. There was no way in hell that I was gonna walk away from that. It might’ve been a mistake to get wrapped up in her when there were so many unknowns surrounding her past, but in my gut, I knew she was the one.

I didn’t care what obstacles stood in my way, I was going to make her mine.

Leslie Wilder grew up in a small town in West Tennessee. A country girl at heart, she’s always thought that life is too short, but she had no idea how short it really was until her brother passed away in 2014. She’s always been an avid reader, loving the escape only a great book can give, and wondered if she had what it took to write one of the wild romances she’d come to adore. With the support of her family and friends, she published Inferno: A Devil Chaser’s MC, one year after her brother’s death. With him in mind, she fulfilled her lifetime dream of writing. Since then, she’s completed the Devil Chaser’s Series and continued on with the Satan’s Fury MC Series. She has so many stories in her head, and can’t wait to share each and every one.
Leslie has been blown away by the support of her readers, appreciating every message, review, and encouraging word she’s received over the past year. She looks forward to continuing this journey with them for years to come.

EXCERPT:

Smoke wafted from the rock chimney of the sturdy hut that stood alone, about a quarter mile away, from the rest of the village, resting on a small knoll overlooking the crags of the Skagerrak bay.  The smell of stew and freshly baked bread reached my nostrils, making my stomach growl. Having no doubt that I would be offered a bowl, I resolved to eat as much as I could. I would need a full stomach to help keep me on my feet tonight. Brant wasn’t going to leave me alone until I’d drunk at least as much as he had, and his penchant for libations was legendary. He was probably already crooning the Lament of Ymir and the sun wasn’t even down.

I pushed open the oak door of the hut without knocking and found my mother standing with her back to me, humming to herself and slowly stirring the contents of a large iron pot that was hanging over a low burning fire. My mother was small for a Norsewoman, but she looked even smaller as she stood slightly hunched, a sign, not only of her advanced age, but also of the toll her visions had taken upon her. Her long silver hair was woven in a braid, which looked like a worn and frayed rope that trailed stiffly down her back.

“When do you leave?” she asked, breaking off her humming without turning around.

“I…we…how did you know?”

“You grew up in this house and you ask me that. A mother always knows. She doesn’t have to be a seer to know when her son is troubled.”

“Still, it’s…unsettling. I just wish you’d let me actually tell you some news once in awhile.”

“Ah, but you have already told me. It’s written all over you, boy.”

“You can’t even see me, Hilda” I growled, moving to the cupboard, removing two bowls and placing them roughly on the table. Years ago, my mother had insisted that I use her proper name rather than calling her mother, even when we were alone together. She said that it was important for the clans members to see her as the Oracle first and foremost, and that anything else she might be, including my other, were secondary. I knew, however, that she didn’t really feel that way in her heart. She also told me that she had foreseen that I would achieve great things in the clan and that I would have to grow up much faster than other children my age. She said that if others heard me calling her by her name, ‘Hilda,’ or by her title, ‘Oracle,’ then they would be much quicker to accept me as a man, a warrior, and a leader in the clan.

“I see you more clearly than anyone, even yourself. You can’t come stomping up my walkway without giving yourself away; you never could. It’s in the way that you move, the way that you carry yourself. The shuffle of your feet might as well be a war horn sounding your troubles. And I know what troubles you; you think our warriors aren’t ready.”

“I know they’re not,” I responded, pouring us each a cup of water from a pitcher on the table. “And I see two cups on this table. You were expecting me.”

“Of course I expected you. Shouldn’t an old woman expect her son for dinner? What’s wrong with that?” The corners of the old woman’s mouth quirked upward as she continued her stirring.

“Don’t give me that old woman crap, Hilda,” I barked. “I know you’ve had a vision. I know that’s how you knew we’re about to go on a raid.”

“You didn’t answer my question,” she pointed out, ignoring my sore attitude.

“We leave in a week,” I finally sighed as I pulled out the chair that seemed much too small to sustain my weight and sat ungracefully down. “Will you be going?” I asked as I leaned my forearm against the table and pressed my forehead to it. My mother was the only person who I would allow to see the toll that the jarl’s obsessions were having on me.

“Precisely,” she grinned at me. “And of course I will be going. When has he ever left me behind?”

“What are you so happy about?” I asked, staring at her with what must be a very puzzled look on my face.

“That is not enough time for your troops, perhaps,” she responded, ignoring my question. “I cannot say; I’m no battle priestess. But…it is the appointed time that I foresaw. And it is the time frame you must adhere to. You mustn’t be late! Or early for that matter. You must arrive precisely at the appointed time, or you will lose her. The arrow that does not fly true, the scorned seeking revenge, and the greedy who is never satisfied. You must not be late.”

It was clear that I was now speaking with Hilda, the Oracle rather than Hilda, my mother. Many of our conversations took place in such a manner. She would suddenly slip into seer mode and start spouting out prophecies, telling me that our clan must do this or that. Sometimes she made sense, most of the time, however, I had no idea what she was talking about.

“Meet who, Hilda?” I asked, not really sure if I wanted the answer to that question. I suddenly felt a heavy foreboding fall over me, like a tunic that was much too tight. Rather than cover me like a proper garment, it made me feel exposed and vulnerable.

To my surprise, she shuffled over to me and smacked the back of my head. I ducked and frowned. “What was that for?”

“Do you ever listen when I speak, boy?” she huffed. “I have already told you about the prophecy.”

Rapturous #Release #Blitz: Girl Talk by Cassidy Storm

girltalkSelf-spot for “Girl Talk”

My book is called Girl Talk, and it’s a F/F erotic romance of approximately 35,000 words. This was written from a “writing prompt,” which consisted mostly of the “wrong number dial” dialogue in the teaser. My original intent was for this to be a much shorter (and much more explicit) story, for the purposes of having material to share with my growing reader base while I complete my March release, Team Mom. However, the two main characters–Autumn and her “wrong number dialer”–sprang to life as I continued writing them, and their tale simply could not be told in a 12,000 word short.

I also wanted to clarify that although the story’s early premise is of a wrong number dialer who continues to call the main character, while herself remaining somewhat anonymous, it’s not a “creepy” or “stalker-ish” tale–although the writing prompt could certainly have gone that way. Readers should find this to be a light-hearted–and at times funny–romance between two young women.

Girl Talk by Cassidy Storm

Autumn is stuck in a rut. She’s been on many first dates but is beginning to wonder if she’ll ever experience happiness — or a second date, for that matter.

When she gets a new phone, she receives a call from an “Unknown Number.” The person’s first words are, “So. You were going to tell me how wet you are.” Autumn is stunned — because the caller happens to be a woman.

Over the next few months, the mysterious calls continue, and the “girl talk” gets more and more personal.

But Autumn is straight . . . isn’t she?

Introducing Cassidy Storm

I’m a longtime reader of romance, erotica, sci-fi and horror. I’ve aspired to become an author and have been working toward this for a few years. My first goal for 2018 was to actually make it happen, and with a few sixteen-hour days, my goal is within reach! My first release is slated for Valentines Day 2018 and my second one is anticipated to happen on MLB Opening Day (go Marlins!)

Other than my sister, who is my best friend in the world, my family doesn’t know I write–manuscripts of Girl Talk and especially, Team Mom would probably not be well-received at Easter Brunch. Same holds true with the “day-job” profession I’m in–so I keep those circles at arm’s length when it comes to my writing.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy playing board and card games–the real, physical ones. Although my sister Allison and I do play Words With Friends and I even let her win a few. I also like to cook, often prompted by seeing something delicious posted on social media. I’m deathly afraid of heights and won’t go near the railing at the mall, but I’ve actually jumped out of an airplane. So go figure.

I look forward to taking my readers on a journey!

Clever #CoverReveal: Careless by Michelle Horst

Irony – when life f@cks you over.

Jax

She’s the one girl I can’t forget.

She’s as innocent as a saint, with the mouth of a sinner.

After taking her virginity, it’s taken me four years to get rid of the guilt.

I used her while she was at her lowest and she’s never forgiven me.

Watching my best friend die a little every day, and not being able to do anything about it, kills me.

I should’ve seen it coming. The second I hit rock bottom, she walks back into my life.

The f@cking irony?

She might be the only one who can save Marcus.

The life of the person who means the most to me lies in the palm of the girl I screwed.

Leigh

Hate is a strong word, but it’s one I’ve really considered when it comes to Jaxson West. But I’ve settled for intensely disliking him. It’s similar to the way I feel about visiting the dentist.

Asking me to forgive Jaxson, is like asking me to willingly sit through a root canal.

He’s heartbreakingly gorgeous, emphasis on heartbreakingly.

He’s an amazing friend, just not to me.

He’s supportive, understanding, caring and loving, just not to me.

No, for me he reserves his dark scowls and low growls.

I’ll do everything I can to save Marcus, but I’m not doing it for Jaxson.
Jaxson West & Leigh Baxter ~ Book 3 in the Enemies To Lovers Series

This is a Stand Alone book in the Enemies To Lovers Series. Each book in the series is about a different couple. To get the full experience of their friendship I’d recommend that you start with Heartless.

This is no fairytale…

Once I fell in love with a gorgeous boy next door.

Years later, he’s back—a total hunk, hot as hell, and bad. So bad.

Rude. Cocky. Hard.

And I’m dying for a taste.

Jarett was our neighbors’ adopted son.

Handsome, strong, quiet, he was my protector, and my friend.

Now he’s back, and he’s still gorgeous.

Tall, dark and sexy. All man.

But he’s a bad guy, moving with a dangerous crowd.

So why do I keep winding up in his arms?

On his lap. In his bed.

I know better than this—I’m better than this. I should stop.

Only my heart tells me there’s good inside Jarett.

That I could save him.

Then again, what happens to gullible girls who climb into bed with the big bad wolf?

…Right.

EXCERPT:

Gigi is standing at the open door, the loud rock music spilling out into the alley. She looks left, then right, as if searching for someone. No great leap of the imagination required to know she’s looking for her friend.

And she sees me. Her gaze stops on me.

She steps all the way out and lets the door close behind her. “Rett?”

Fuck. This is fucking bad. I suck on my cigarette and wait. Maybe she’ll take the hint and go away.

But Gigi never cared what I said or did, back then. She stuck by my side through my silences and snarky comments.

Obviously she hasn’t changed.

She heads straight to me, plants herself in front of me and shakes back her white-blond hair. “Rett. What now, you’ll pretend you can’t see me?”

Damn, how could I ever pretend that? She’s wearing a low-cut red sweater over a tiny skirt and those damn knee-length socks that drive me crazy. Girl likes wearing red. And damn if I can tear my eyes away from her cleavage.

I’m so fucking hard I’m about to bust a nut.

“What do you want?” I mutter, flicking ash from my cigarette, a thoughtless gesture, when it becomes clear she isn’t budging.

“Did you see Sydney out here? I’ve lost her again.”

She smells of something sweet, like toffee. My mouth waters. My dick throbs. She smells like home, and like pleasure, and like danger all at once.

“Go away, Gigi,” I whisper. “Go back inside. That’s where your friend is.”

“So you saw her.”

Throwing my cigarette away, I take a step toward her. “Go now.” She’s wearing down all of my self-control. I have to send her back inside, send her away from me. Having her around is risky on a thousand different levels.

She takes a step back. “Not unless you tell me what you saw. Did she buy drugs? Tell me, Jarett.”

“And what will you do if I tell you?” I back her into the club’s fire escape ladder. “What the fuck can you do about it?”

“Not me. She won’t listen to me, or talk to me about this. But you could help me.”

I blink, not sure I heard her well. I’m looking down into her pretty eyes, at her full, red mouth, and shake my head. “What did you say?”

“For old times’ sake, Rett… I need your help.”
