Rough timber, warm light, soft yet hard hands.
It was all she felt, heard.
Wanted.
Her head was splitting like she had a hundred
jackhammers pounding at her skull. Her body felt numb with pain, but
nevertheless, throbbed with every beat of her heart.
Whispers were heard wherever she was. Encased in
warmth, she had to wonder if she really wanted to wake. Was she safe, was he there, who was he? Turbulent questions ran through her mind like the race cars at
Daytona. With no answers, her mind weakened. Her heart slowed to a snail’s
pace.
The bed bounced, shocking her body into a pain so intense her breathing stalled. Soft
murmurs could be heard quieting her moans. A light touch on her cheek was
soothing, had her turning her head into the warmth and security offered to her
fractured body.
As her mind and body finally relaxed into the heated
comfort surrounding her body, one thought stood out among the rest…
What’s my name?

Amazon bestselling author of The Protectors
Series and The Possessed Series.
I’m never quite sure what to say here.
So here goes…
I’m a Canadian girl through and through, I love the
mountains, yet I hate the snow. The summer here gets HAWT and I wish it was
year round.
Some of my favorite things are cookie dough ice
cream from Marble Slab, every Die Hard movie made, and crime drama shows on TV.
I swear like a sailor, don’t do frilly girly things.
BUT I love when my husband treats me like a queen.
I take photos for fun, and write to breathe. I love
to be as creative as I can, when I can.
These are some of my favorite things about me. Do
you wanna know the best part of me?
My family.
My mom and Grandma have supported me through every
bad decision, and cheated on the good ones. They’re strong woman who I look up
to!
My husband, Steven, Scuba Steve, we’ve been together
since I was 17, had our first baby, Savannah, when I was 18, and were married
when I was 19. 3 boys, Chase Liam & JD, and 12 years later our family is
complete.
Without their constant support (And sometimes
badgering) I don’t think I would be the woman I am today.

Genre: YA Fantasy Romance
Release Date: January 2014

Summary from Goodreads:

Once in Empire, the sudden death of ruling Body Descendant, Christiana, sets in motion a number of events; a quest for the treacherous Austin to find the girl Christiana had been looking for; a challenge where Anita stands out more vibrantly than ever before; a perilous dip in the world’s energy; and a dangerous belief among the people that they will never truly be free. Excerpt:

After three, enormous courses and a significant quantity of various types of wine, Anita decided it was time to open the dancing.  In line with tradition, there would be no announcement, but Anita and Marcus would take to the floor at a time of their choosing, throwing a signal to the band and surprising the audience by launching into their dance.

Anita reached over and took Marcus’ hand under the table.  She inclined her head in the direction of the open space between the banquet tables and he smiled in agreement.  He led Anita around the top table, waving to the band as they passed.  The band immediately sprang into life, striking up a jaunty number and the room quietened in expectant anticipation.  Anita could hardly contain her excitement.  She loved to dance and leaving Marcus by the edge of the tables, she spun her way to the middle of the floor.  Marcus ran after her and caught her just as she stopped spinning, leant her backwards seductively, then restored her to an upright position in a slow, fluid, silky movement.  They smiled at each other as they came back face to face, each reminded of their dance on the cliff, before Marcus almost violently spun Anita out and back in again.  They tangoed around the floor, paying no attention to their audience, who watched open-mouthed at the display.  They had all expected a polite waltz to start proceedings, and certainly no one had expected this.

After a couple of minutes of the borderline inappropriate spectacle, complete with too much body contact, a number of improper looks, and all topped off by the suggestive backing track, the others eligible to join the first dance got up and made their way to the floor.  All expect Austin, whose face was like thunder as he watched his son’s embarrassing exhibition with the girl he was beginning to hate.  Marcus and Anita finished their opener with a flourish, Marcus spinning Anita around so they were back to back before lifting her high on his shoulders, her arms outstretched.  He spun several times before letting her slide back to the floor, having masterfully positioned them to join the set laid out by the others in preparation for the formal dancing.  He kissed her hand racily and threw her one last risqué look as they took their places.

About the Author

h-r-mooreHarriet was born in Germany in 1987, the family returning to the UK, to Dorset shortly afterwards. She lived there until she was 5, her grandfather teaching her the basics of cheating at cards and swindling chocolate, her mother starting to instil a (some would argue) unhealthy relationship with cake, and the neighbours demonstrating that some people don’t understand cherry blossom is there to be picked, mixed with mint and water and sold as perfume.
Then there was Scotland; stealthy guinea pig breeding, riding horses, advanced cards, more cake, then to Devon and school in Exeter. She loved maths in the early years, but by the time she got to A Level, Sociology was her favourite subject, opening her eyes to things she’d never before considered, namely, nobody is really right, nobody is really normal and primary socialisation has a lot to answer for.
At the age of about 12, Harriet started rowing for Exeter Rowing Club. This quickly took over her life and before too long she was clad in lycra, training 6 days a week and competing at events around the country.

After finishing her A Levels, Harriet went to university in St Andrews, studying Philosophy for two years, then switching to Management. She was particularly interested in the ‘people’ elements of her course and especially the areas concerning how people create and react to change. After four very civilised years by the sea, she ventured to London, to foray into the strange world of insurance (surprisingly, more interesting than you might think). She worked as a Project Manager on large change programmes before founding her own consultancy in 2015.

Harriet now lives in Hertfordshire with her husband Chris and daughter Atia. When she isn’t, writing, editing, eating, running around after her toddler, or imagining how much better life would be with the addition of a springer spaniel, she occasionally finds the time to make hats.

Working as an informant for the DEA, Victoria Monzelle is used to living on
the edge. But she’s not a big fan of getting kidnapped. And
definitely not by a bunch of bad boy witches with fancy-colored fire
to shoot at people. So when Adam Dunne shows up and claims to be a
witch enforcer, she’s not going to put her life in his hands based
on his word, no matter how smooth and smart and beautifully Irish his
words sound. But on the run from a tribunal of witches, she isn’t
going to make it far . . .
Before she knows it, Adam’s word is all that stands between her and
execution. Sophisticated, just-gotta-ruffle-him Adam has vowed to
make her his one eternal mate, wild and unpredictable as she is—to
save her from a sentence of certain death. But Tori isn’t
interested in being anyone’s pity date. And if they think she’s
unpredictable now, they should see what’s coming next . . .
Wicked Bite
Realm Enforcers Book 5
Releasing – 8/01/2017
As she hunts for a drug lord killing her fellow witches, all Tessa
Lansa’s instincts point to the Grizzly motorcycle club. That might
be because their leader, Bear, is the strong, silent shifter type:
warm brown eyes and more muscle and alpha male than any woman can
ignore. Which makes Tessa’s plan to seduce and betray him all the
more dangerous . . .
Bear doesn’t trust the curvy, blue-eyed witch. But Tessa can heal the
injuries that sap his strength. And since he can’t stop thinking of
her lush body and teasing smile, her plan to mate him to reclaim her
own power is highly tempting. Just one problem. Once a desire this
wild is loose, no one will ever control it . . .

ALEX: Perfect Opposite Book One (Extended edition)
Zoya Tessi
Publication date: January 23rd 2017
Genres: New Adult, Romance

Their wishes were simple and modest. Fate had other things in store though, and she can be a real bitch sometimes.

All he wanted was to get the job done and somehow to endure those long months playing nanny to a spoiled little rich girl. Without strangling her with his bare hands in the process. Well, it is going to be much easier said than done.

All she wanted was to escape the past and live like any other girl. Her plan definitely didn’t include the arrogant, tattooed savage, with his awful mohawk and lack of social graces, whose only mission was to stick real close and mess up her life.

But, people aren’t always what they seem to be, are they?

EXCERPT:

Alex

I stared into the darkness of the corridor, its inky blackness looking right back at me like Nietzsche’s abyss.

How in the hell had I ended up in such a mess? How could I have managed to screw up so badly?

The fact that Sasha was my boss’s daughter was the least of my problems. I took the phone out of my pocket, deciding that the best course of action would be to call Nikolai right away and ask him to send some of Vlad’s guys to take my place. Punching the number automatically, I waited for him to pick up, while my mind worked overtime, trying to think up a convincing reason to relieve me of my current duties. None came, and in the eternity of the first ring, I decided to hang up and rethink.

“What’s happened?” he answered just before I could cut the call.

All thoughts of making excuses evaporated, leaving me with no option but to tell him the truth, so I parted my lips to do it but no sounds came. I knew that Vlad’s guys were all hardened professionals, their skills honed through years in and out of dangerous places and lethal situations. Any one of them could guard Sasha as well as me, perhaps even better, but just thinking about the possibility of leaving her in someone else’s care made me shudder.

“Sorry, boss,” I heard myself say, knowing all the while that I was making a big mistake, yet somehow throwing caution to the wind. “Phone was in my pocket. I forgot to lock it. Situation’s normal and no one’s dead.”

“Christ, Aleksey! You had me reaching for my Beretta.” I heard him let out a long breath. “ So, everything is okay?”

“Yeah.” I tried to sound casual as I squeezed my temples, mad with myself.

What the fuck is wrong with me?

When I heard the line go dead, I lit another cigarette, its tip fizzing at the end of the flame from my Zippo, the vague aroma of petrol filling my lungs along with its blue smoke. A satisfying hit in the midst of a most unsatisfactory situation. How the hell was I supposed to go back inside and pretend that nothing had happened?

Still Love You
Allie Everhart
Publication date: February 14th 2017
Genres: New Adult, Romance

*A Standalone New Adult Romance.*

Silas Sparks was my first love. My only love. The guy I thought I would marry, and almost did.

We were engaged. For a week. In high school. It was the happiest week of my life. But then reality hit and I broke off the engagement. I was only 17. I couldn’t get married! I had plans for my life. Plans that included college and someday running a large corporation.

Silas was crushed. He couldn’t understand why I did it. But that’s Silas. He lives in the moment, never worries about the future. After we broke up, he took off for Europe and never came back.

That was two years ago. I haven’t seen or talked to him since. Then just as I’m about to leave college for summer break, guess who shows up at my door? Looking even hotter than I remember, flashing that sexy smile of his, telling me he’s home for the summer, living just a few houses down from mine!

Now I’m panicking. I was never supposed to see him again. Silas is the past. I’ve moved on. And yet here he is, and all I can think about is how much I want him back. It can never happen, but even so, I can’t deny the truth. And the truth is…I still love Silas.

EXCERPT:

Willow

Once we’re seated, I say, “You can go out with her. My mom could probably come pick me up.” I pluck a blade of grass from the lawn and run it between my fingers, focusing on its smooth texture to distract myself from the hurt I’m feeling right now.

“I don’t want to go out with Kristy. I told you, I had no idea she’d even be here.”

“She came with Trent. She was obviously here because of you.” I toss the blade of grass aside and lie down on the blanket, knees bent, my eyes on the bright moon above us.

“But I didn’t know that until just now. When I talked to Trent earlier, he didn’t say he was bringing Kristy here tonight. He shouldn’t have done that. He thought he was helping me, but…”

“Helping you?” I sigh. “Silas, you’ve never needed help getting a date.”

“That’s not what I meant.” He lies next to me, propped up on his side. “He was trying to make me feel better. Trying to get my mind off things.”

“What things?”

He looks down and pauses for so long that I think he’s not going to answer, but then says, “Today was really hard.”

“Why? What do you mean?” I think I already know why but I want to hear his answer.

“It was hard seeing you again.” He looks up at me. “It’s not that I didn’t want to see you. I did. I’ve been wanting to see you for two years. It’s just that…once I did, I wanted things to go back to how they used to be and…I know they can’t.”

I feel wetness in the corners of my eyes because I can feel the hurt in his voice and I can see it in his face. And because I feel the same way. As soon as I saw him, I wanted to go back to how things were. The moment he appeared at my door, I wanted to run up and hug him and tell him how much I missed him.

“So Trent was trying to get you to move on?” I ask.

“In his own idiotic way, yes.”

“Maybe you should. Move on.” I choke on the words because it’s not what I want. But I love Silas, and I want him to be happy, and in order to do that, he needs to move on.

A long pause lingers between us.

“Is that really what you want?” he asks. “For me to move on?”

I swallow past the lump in my throat. “Yes.”

“If you wanted me to move on, then why did you get so upset when Kristy asked me to go out with her?”

“I was angry because you invited me here and then a girl showed up. It was just a misunderstanding.”

“You know I’d never do that to you. I would never plan some elaborate scheme in order to try to make you jealous.”

“I know,” I whisper.

He brushes the back of his hand over my cheek. “Willow, I need you to be honest with me. I need you to tell me how you really feel. What you really want. I need to know if there’s any hope for us. If you’d even consider the idea of us getting back together.”

God, this is so hard. Being around him makes me want to go back to how things were, but eventually I’d have to break up with him. I already did that once and it was hard enough back then. I can’t do it again. I don’t want to have to close that door a second time.

Moving on doesn’t always have to mean goodbye.

Widowed makeup artist Jane Sullivan is more comfortable keeping her husband’s memory alive than dating a pool full of sharks. Ella, her 4 year-old daughter, is her whole world.

When Jane meets Lucas Oliver, famous cover model, it’s hate at first sight. His playboy persona rubs her the wrong way.

Accustomed to every woman fawning over him, Lucas is drawn to the shy, uncompromising single mom and completely melts at the sight of Ella. He is determined to convince Jane that sometimes a second chance can mend a broken heart.

Goodreads / Amazon / Barnes & Noble

EXCERPT:

Heavy footsteps behind me warn Lucas is awake. My heart pounds when I glance at him. Barefooted, he strolls in wearing only dark jeans low on his toned hips, zipped but not buttoned, partially revealing black, David Beckham underwear. Water glistens in his messy hair, still damp from the shower. A red sweater lands on the countertop in front of the fridge, which he leaves open while he finishes one bottle of water. He goes for a second bottle, his bare, muscle-ripped chest camera perfect.

“Enjoying what you see?” Lucas leans against the fridge, muscles shifting on his abdomen and arms. He’s not smiling, but rather defiant looking.

“I hate to bring it to your attention, but there’s a girl in this house, and I’d appreciate if you wore clothes at all times. Thank you.” As to confirm my words Ella’s laughter penetrates through the window.

“And I hate to bring it to your attention, but last night I wasn’t hitting on you. You’re not my type.” His freshly shaved jaw twitches, and it’s the last I see before he turns his back on me, pulling things out of the fridge. From jam to cheese and sausages, cold cuts and fruits, the countertop turns into a display of colors and aromas. Next he spreads butter on a croissant and finishes it in two, quick bites. He hasn’t touched anything he took out of the fridge, gorging himself on croissants and butter, all the while cocking an eyebrow.

I’m tempted to say “sour grapes” but it’s probably not a good idea. He’s pissed off and I like to believe my refusal to fall in his arms is the reason why. I go for, “Thanks for clarifying that for me. I was worried you were in for a heartbreak.”

“You wish,” Lucas says between bites. He looks like a hamster with food stuffed on both sides of his mouth. He hasn’t closed the fridge’s door but walks away to the coffee pot. I’ll never understand why people leave the fridge open. Can’t stand it, and decide to go close it before he returns to clog his arteries. One quick move and the door is closed, but I don’t move fast enough. When I turn to walk away, Lucas hovers over me. My eyes level with his lower chest. The fridge feels cold against my back. I look up at him and swallow hard. The man is just overpowering and insanely sexy.

He smirks. “Can’t stay away from me?”

“You’re wasting energy.” At least my voice doesn’t tremor.

Lucas’s left hand comes up as if to touch my face, but instead it rests above my head, on the fridge. “Why do you care?”

“I don’t. I’m just thoughtful of other people’s property.”

“Perfect Jane. How many Nobel Prizes have you received so far?”

“You’re such a conceited jerk. How can you stand yourself?” I lift my chin and prop my palms on his chest, forcing him to move off me. The more I struggle the more he laughs, a devilish and loud laugh.

Author Bio:

Ever since I began writing and publishing books I’ve been on the run, always trying to write the next page, the next chapter, the next book. Every story was another journey, another discovery of what I could do and another evolution. All these years my motto was it doesn’t matter who I am or where I come from, but what I leave behind is. I thought I have it all figured out.

Socrates, one of the biggest philosophers to ever grace humanity once said, “I am talking a crock of s***.” I had no idea this expression dated hundreds of years ago and belongs to him, but who am I to argue with him? Needless to say, after some soul searching I realized my motto was a . . . pot of smelly stuff. I had a meltdown because, if you think about it, why would what I leave behind matter more than who I am here and now in this very moment? How will I ever know if what I left behind mattered with no way of seeing it? How am I gonna enjoy it? Think Socrates; does he know how much he touched humankind? Does he know people still remember him centuries later? And if he knows, does it make a difference?

I’m not sure. Frankly I doubt with all my heart it makes any difference to him. He’s gone, like I’ll be gone one day and instead of beating myself up to leave something behind me, I’m going to learn how to live here, now and totally enjoy it. No more worrying about tomorrow, but live today. No more five-year plans, but rather let the sun soak my skin, the air fill my lungs and the grass touch my feet. After all, I only live once.

EXCERPT:

The moment they walked into the club behind Banks Art & Co., Iris feared she had gotten in over her head. Her senses ignited with the sights and sounds. In the waiting area, a gruff man who seemed to know Sal checked them in.

“She yours?” The man assessed Iris.

Sal glanced at Iris propping on her crutches and gripping his hand. “Tonight she is.”

Safeword?”

“Dandelion, Sir,” Iris smirked.

“They have comp tonight so be warned. I put you in the Downbelow, south room. You doing alright, Raniero?” the man asked almost compassionate.

“I’m getting there. Break-ups are hard,” Sal took Iris’ tag, wrapping it around her wrist. His face close to Iris, she watched him attach the tag. Surprising Iris, he blinked up and revealed, “But things are improving.”

“She’s a beaut.” The bald man touched his beard. “Keep an eye on her.”

Iris blushed, unsure of how to take his compliment, feeling a bit like an animal or piece of property.

Sal smirked, “I won’t be taking my eyes off of her.”

The black double doors opened up to a world different from Juliet or Lakeside. With a heavy beat thumping, the lights spiraled about the room.

“Do you trust me?”

“Yes.” The word came out, but it wasn’t without fear. She wanted to bite her lip, her finger, her arm—anything to forget that she was not the Iris Kettles she knew. The upgraded, transformed, and hard fought for girl who went through hell left her unsettled.

Sal took her crutches and handed them to the man. “You ready?”

Iris smiled, nodding once. Tossing her over his shoulder, Sal carried her into the fray of the crowd. Running into people he knew, Sal never stopped for long. But it wouldn’t have mattered if he had.

Iris fixated on the stage as the slaves presented one after another with beautiful, fluid movements. After being mesmerized by the slaves, when she finally looked around, the amount of people in the club shocked her.

Stopping to chat with a group of about five or six friends, Sal greeted them cordially and warm. A girl with long, dark blue hair came up from behind and shoved a pair of cat ears on Iris’ head.

“She’s a doll, Raniero!” The girl chimed, walking off all giggles and smiles. Iris caught a glimpse of his smirk and noticed the slightest hint of blush.

He knew that girl well.

Behind the jukebox-shaped bar, four stories of glass encased dungeons packed with people loitering outside on each of the balconies. Sal walked into a secluded alcove of elevators.

“Hey, Darrell!”

“Good Evening, Mr. Raniero! Where you headed?”

“South,” Sal winked.

“Great choice. And who is this?”

“This is Iris.” The elevator opened and before the door shut Sal muttered, “Bring me a bottle of pink, and no interruptions from anyone, please.”

“Yes, Sir. What about Penny? She was looking for you earlier.”

“No, no one,” Sal shook the man’s hand in some sort of bro-gesture Iris didn’t comprehend. She bit her lip and waved with two fingers.

Riding in the elevator, Iris tried to ignore how absolutely gorgeous the man holding her was. Drowning in his scent, she would happily just ride up and down in the elevator all night. “Sal?”

“Ya, Angel?”

“Don’t rush me.”

“I would never. I promise we are going to have fun.” And much to her surprise, his hand swatted her ass once. “Trust me. Let go. I’ve got you.”

Love RestoredAbout LOVE RESTORED

In the first of a Montgomery Ink spin-off series from NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan, a broken man uncovers the truth of what it means to take a second chance with the most unexpected woman…

Graham Gallagher has seen it all. And when tragedy struck, lost it all. He’s been the backbone of his brothers, the one they all rely on in their lives and business. And when it comes to falling in love and creating a life, he knows what it’s like to have it all and watch it crumble. He’s done with looking for another person to warm his bed, but apparently he didn’t learn his lesson because the new piercer at Montgomery Ink tempts him like no other.

Blake Brennen may have been born a trust fund baby, but she’s created a whole new life for herself in the world of ink, piercings, and freedom. Only the ties she’d thought she’d cut long ago aren’t as severed as she’d believed. When she finds Graham constantly in her path, she knows from first glance that he’s the wrong kind of guy for her. Except that Blake excels at making the wrong choice and Graham might be the ultimate temptation for the bad girl she’d thought long buried.

Read an excerpt of LOVE RESTORED:

When the game started, and the Avs took the ice, Graham kept his attention on the players rather than the very sexy woman beside him. His team needed his head to be in the game and not on Blake’s curves. And, yes, he might be a little superstitious, but whatever.

At the face off, Toronto took possession of the puck, and Blake let out a little cheer— not loud enough for others to hear, but just those on either side of her. Holy hell, had Austin sent a traitor into their midst? A freaking Toronto fan at a home game for the Avalanche? What the hell was that Montgomery thinking?

He growled at her as she quietly cheered the first Maple Leaf goal and met Derek’s eyes. Why the hell was the other man laughing? Couldn’t he see that Blake was cheering for the wrong team? She lived in freaking Denver for God’s sake, and considering that her family’s ancestral home was here, she had to be a native. And yet, she cheered for Toronto? It was as if she were trying to annoy him.

After the first period, he got up, his hands fisting at his sides. “I need another beer.”

Owen, who had been quiet the entire time since he was apparently answering emails on his phone, looked up. “Grab me a soda, will you? I need some caffeine, and since I’m driving us home, I’ll let you drink.” He winked toward Blake. “I think you’re going to need alcohol tonight.”

Graham grunted and stomped his way through the aisle and up the stairs so he could get a beer. Since everyone and their mother got up during intermission, he’d have to wait in line, but maybe that would help him cool off. He was just so freaking pissed that she would dare root for another team. And that made no sense. Why could she get under his skin so easily?

“Hey, Graham, wait up,” Derek said as he jogged up behind him.

“I don’t know what you did to piss Blake off, but I should probably let you know she’d rooting for Toronto just to needle you.”

Graham turned. “Excuse me?”

He must have looked like he wanted to rip someone’s arm off because a few people moved back in the line and Derek held up his hands. “She’s a diehard Avs fan. Even owns a signed Sakic jersey and keeps a spare she can wear during games. The signed one only comes out during the playoffs. It’s got to be killing her to root for the other team, and it must be because of you.”

That little witch. “How do you know it’s not because of you?” he asked, intrigued and pissed off all at the same time that she would do something like that.

“Because we’re friends, not close ones, but friends. This isn’t a date or anything, just to let you know. I think she’s single, but since my girlfriend up in Seattle would skin me if I even dared to look at Blake that way, I’m just fine as I am. Anyway, I thought you should know that she’s just trying to piss you off. Bro code and all that.”

Graham clenched his teeth. “Bro code.” He ordered his beer, Owen’s soda, and paid for Derek and Blake’s drinks since Derek had been so helpful.

“What are you going to do about Blake?” Derek asked as they made their way back to the entrance and showed their tickets.

“Don’t know yet.” And that was the problem. He never knew about anything where it came to this woman. She could intrigue him, turn him on, and piss him off all in the span of ten minutes. That had to be a record.

He handed Owen his drink and sat back down, studying Blake as he did so.

“What?” she asked, brows raised.

“Nothing,” he said softly. “Not yet anyway.”

She blinked and opened her mouth to say something, then froze as people started to chant, “Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” around them.

Graham slowly looked up at the huge screen on top of the ice and cursed. “You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.”

Blake laughed. “No way. No fucking way.”

“Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!”

He was pretty sure Owen was yelling the loudest, and Graham was going to have to kick his brother’s ass when this was over.

“Fuck it,” Graham growled and gripped the back of Blake’s head and crushed his mouth to hers. They both froze a moment as cheers erupted around them before he sank deeper into the kiss. He didn’t open his mouth, wouldn’t let his tongue touch hers, but the moment of lips against lips left him breathless.

He pulled back, his eyes wide, Blake’s even wider.

“What the hell was that?” Blake gasped, her cheeks slashed with red.

“I…” He cleared his throat. “Just watch the game. And you can cheer for your precious Avs. Don’t hurt yourself going for Toronto.”

He turned away from her and gulped half his beer down in one go.

He could feel Blake’s eyes on him before she turned away, and see her hands shaking out of the corner of his eye.

“Dude,” Owen whispered. “This is going to be fun.”

“Fuck you,” Graham growled and drank the last of his beer.

He didn’t know what had come over him, but that had to be the last of it. There was no way he was going to go there. If he were this unraveled and tense at the same time with just one kiss, with just one look, he wouldn’t make it if he had her in his arms. In his bed.

Blake wasn’t for him, and damn it, he didn’t want her to be.

The Kiss Cam could go straight to hell.
